Declaration of Choice

Self Enquiry Practitioner Certification Pathway

Before commencing or interacting with any product or service (including but not limited to Private Sessions, Community Membership, and Mentorship, collectively referred to as “Support”) offered by Chris Knight and Freedom Together, all participants are required to review and acknowledge the following Declaration of Choice.

This document establishes the foundational framework of personal responsibility and informed consent required for this work.

1. Choice & Assumption of Risk

Consenting Adult: I agree that I am a consenting adult choosing to engage in Support with no hidden agendas, expectations, or assumptions regarding the specific benefits I may receive.
Risk of Change: I understand that the Support offered is not intended to "manage" or "fix" my life situation or adhere to my current belief systems. I take full responsibility for the potential risk of significant changes that may take place in every aspect of my life, including but not limited to my mental, physical, and emotional health, life situation, and relationships.
No Directives: I agree that the Support I receive is strictly invitational. I will not, under any circumstances, misconstrue any advice, opinion, belief, or experience offered to me as a directive I must follow.

2. Duty of Care & Responsibility

Sovereignty of Well-being: I acknowledge that the Support provided is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or crisis intervention. While Chris Knight facilitates the space with integrity, I take full responsibility for my own well-being and psychological safety, recognising that the ultimate duty of care for my life choices and health remains with me.
Non-Personalisation: I agree that I will not place blame or criticism towards Chris Knight in respect to any changes and/or results that occur as a consequence of engaging in the Support I have consciously chosen.
Independent Conclusion: I take full responsibility for any conclusions I arrive at, including those that may seem contrary to or in conflict with my current life situation, beliefs, and values. I confirm that I have not been persuaded, manipulated, or coerced toward any conclusion.

3. Community & Relational Dynamics

Dual Relationships: I am aware that professional support may be provided to people I know personally (including community members, family, or colleagues). I agree that I have no hesitation or concern regarding these dynamics and feel confident that the highest standards of confidentiality will be upheld.
Direct Resolution: If I feel the Support I am receiving is no longer in alignment with my best interests, or if I feel uncomfortable regarding community dynamics, I agree to address the matter directly with Chris Knight to mitigate any risk of harm.

4. Indemnification & Consent

Indemnification: I shall indemnify and hold Chris Knight harmless from any loss or liability arising from actions taken or situations created as a result of subsequent sessions or participation in the Pathway.
Informed Consent: I understand the general benefits and intentions of this work and acknowledge that sessions are not a substitute for medical treatment or professional advice regarding lifestyle, personal, or professional matters.

Governing Law

Should any part of this declaration be found unenforceable by a court, the remaining sections shall remain in full force and effect.
