Code of Conduct

Self Enquiry Practitioner Certification Pathway

This Code of Conduct sets out the behavioural standards expected of all participants within the Self Enquiry Practitioner Certification Pathway and the broader Freedom Together community. Participation in this pathway requires a commitment to personal responsibility, respectful engagement, and ethical behaviour in both learning and relational contexts.

1. Confidentiality & Privacy

I acknowledge that the Self Enquiry Practitioner Pathway and Freedom Together community provide a space for personal reflection, emotional honesty, and relational exploration.

  • Highest Confidentiality: I agree to uphold the highest level of confidentiality in relation to all personal information shared by others, including Integration Sessions, practitioner mentoring, community posts, and practice dyads.

  • No Unauthorised Disclosure: I agree not to disclose, repeat, or reference identifiable personal information shared by others outside of the community without explicit consent.

  • Digital Integrity: I agree never to take screenshots, recordings, or photos of community discussions, Zoom galleries, or private exchanges to share publicly or on social media without the written consent of all parties involved.

  • Consequences: I understand that privacy and trust are foundational to the integrity of this work, and that breaches of confidentiality may result in immediate removal and/or withdrawal of certification eligibility.

2. Personal Responsibility & Non-Personalisation

I recognise that Self Enquiry invites responsibility for my own internal experience. If I feel triggered, challenged, or reactive, I agree to:

  • Take responsibility for my internal experience.

  • Engage in self enquiry rather than blame or projection.

  • Avoid seeking validation for reactive states inside or outside the community.

  • Meet discomfort as an opportunity for awareness rather than personalisation.

3. Clarity, Curiosity & Assumption Awareness

I acknowledge that assumptions can lead to misunderstanding or unnecessary conflict. Rather than acting from assumptions, I agree to:

  • Seek clarity through respectful enquiry.

  • Communicate directly and honestly when something feels unclear.

  • Approach interactions with humility and curiosity.

4. Engagement, Integrity & Best Effort

I understand that the practice of Self Enquiry can be challenging. I commit to:

  • Engaging with sincerity and honesty.

  • Showing up with responsibility rather than perfection.

  • Recognizing that my level of engagement directly influences the integrity of my learning.

5. Respectful Conduct & Community Standards

I agree to interact with others in a respectful, non-coercive, and non-judgemental manner.

  • Direct Communication: I agree to address grievances or concerns directly with Chris Knight or the relevant facilitator. I will avoid "backchanneling" or triangulating other community members into private conflicts or reactive states that bypass direct resolution.

  • Facilitator Authority: I acknowledge that the facilitator has the final authority to manage the timing, flow, and safety of live sessions. I agree to respect redirections or "hard stops" provided by the facilitator to ensure the collective needs of the group are met.

  • Boundaries: I will maintain appropriate emotional boundaries and refrain from harassment, manipulation, or superiority.

6. Professional Responsibility

As a participant in the Practitioner Certification Pathway, I agree to:

  • Scope of Practice: Act within my current scope and avoid presenting myself as a therapist, clinician, or healer unless otherwise qualified.

  • Relational Boundaries: When engaging in practice sessions or dyads with fellow participants, I acknowledge the primary context is learning. I will avoid using these spaces to "therapize" others without their explicit request and consent.

  • Referral: Refer others to appropriate professional support when needed.

Acknowledgement
